Brotherhood:

Rather than turning on Mystique in "Turn of the Rogue," Rogue absorbed enough of Mystique's memories to be aware of the connection between them. Despite having been lied to, her desire for family proved stronger, and she remained a member of the Brotherhood.

Acolyte:

After the events of "Cauldron" and "Power Surge," Rogue, frustrated by the growing romance between Scott and Jean and feeling ever more isolated from the group seeks out Magneto, aware of the control he offered Scott of his powers, even at the expense of his mind. The technology was destroyed with Asteroid M, but Magneto offered Rogue a place at his side and assistance in training her powers, rather than keeping them as a last resort, as Xavier was doing. She became the first Acolyte.
